One Saturday late last September, six brave golfers and a teacher journeyed to Sharon Golf and Country Club in New- market to take part in the GBSSA Team Golf Championship.
The weather conditions were far from ideal golf condit- ions. D espite this the team of Roy Dahl, Brian Barker, Randy Morritt, Ron Moreau, Chris Cooke and Nick Wheeler turned in a good showing. Roy Dahl held the low gross of the Collingwood players.
In the School Championships, Roy "Oily" Dahl and his Arnold Palmers dominated the field for an easy victory to become the CCI Golf Champion of '66-67.
Golfers look for a good golfing year to come so they might get in the groove for the event next year.
