The team showed promise by winning all pre-season games. A 40-13 drubbing of Meaford saw Dave Spence pour in 18 points, Rob Mayer 10. This winning streak included satisfying victories over Stayner. Mayer
and Spence led with 20 and 19 points.
In the regular season the team finished first with no team scoring an unrevenged defeat on Collingwood. In a 39-19 victory over North, Mayer potted 15 points. Doug Reitsma hustled for 7. The worst defeat of the season was by only 11. Spence and Gallacher scored 8, Charlie Wylie drove for 6 in a losing cause.
In the semi-finals the team handed Central a 41-27 setback. Gord Gallacher was high scorer with 12. The team won the series and all players contributed.
In the finals the squad played Eastview. The Juniors had previously beaten Eastview but they were knocked out by "Hot Shooters".
The team was controlled by fine ball handlers: Rob Mayer (Captain~ Doug Reitsma, Brian French, Doug McKechnie, John Bonwick, Don Thorne. Outside Shooters were Dave Spence, Gord Gallacher (Co-Captain), Ian Poste, Jake Roelofsen. The Backboards were controlled by Charlie Wylie, Karl Fuhre, Paul Skeleton. The boys won 16, losing only 5.
