The Collingwood Cavaliers were the surprise of the Senior Division Basket- ball. With only two players returning from last year's lineup and with no prom- ising intermediate players moving up, the coaches had to go with some new talent and a bearded hypochondriac. Led by high scoring Leo Kea who averaged 22 points a game and George Bell who averaged 15 points a game, the Cavaliers were the winners of Zone 3 senior ball.
Four intermediate players were instrumental in aiding the team in the playoffs.
Only a handful of fans turned out to see the team win the Zone 3 playoffs by beating Base Borden by a two game score of 118-78.
The team went on to the G.B.S.S.A. finals and finished second, losing to Orillia Park Street.
