Junior Girls' Volleyball

This year we had a strong spirited team, mostly consisting of grade nine girls. This means that they had never played on a high school team before . Practises were held on a quite regular basis, usUJlly never lasting much past five o'clock. With this practise we learned to play together as a team, sometimes competing with the Senior girls. On the whole we played our best and, although we didn't quite make the playoffs, we gave the other teams great competition. We won 3 matches and lost 4. I feel this year was a great year and I en-. courage all girls interested in sports to come and try for the team next year.
