Junior Girls' Basketball Team

A strong Junior Basketball team is in the offing for next season. This year's team was composed mainly of Grade Nine girls. They displayed enthusiasm and talent and throughout the schedule worked hard at devel- oping their skills and game play.
The girls fought hard during the season in and put forth a good showing in all their games. As well as the regular schedule the team played an exhibition game with Penetanguishene and participated in a tournament at Base Borden. The team didn't place in the tournament but received many compliments as to their potential for future years.
The team appreciates the long hours Mrs. Sharpe spent in helping to develop their skills. All the girls eligible for Junior next year promise to come back and win!
