ENGLISH DEP ARTMENT
MR. KENNEY -the head of the English department, has taught at C.C.I. for 15 years. He helped with the Centennial celebrations, and the Gleaner. Mr. Kenney is interested in gardening and apple production.
MR. GARDINER - an English teacher here for four years, likes music and gardening.
MR. FOGG - allegedly teaches film arts, mass media and English. Has been at it for what "seems like twenty years", tempted to leave, (or should that be attempted). Active in CBMS and under- ground (blue) movie making because "all illicit activities stimulate the adrenalin". Also took many of the pictures in this book. (No one knows what he did with them). Whatever it is he does in his spare time, Mr. Fogg can't say with a straight face. He feels any profession would be better than teaching. Why don't you try mod- eling, Mr. Fogg?
MR. SEIDLE -an English teacher in his third year at C.C.I., was a staff advisor to the Gleaner. He likes horseback riding and would like to try engineering or law.
MRS. STOUTENBURG -has taught English in Collingwood for
six years. She has been quite active in many extracurricular activi- ties, including the bridge club, the Reach for the Top team, and the the Senior Girls' Basketball team. Mrs. Stoutenburg enjoys these activities, and feels they allow her to meet students on another basis besides as a classroom teacher. Other professions she might like to try are law and veterinary medicine.
MR. REDDING replaced MRS. HOWALD at Christmas time. MRS. BIRD replaced MRS. STOUTENBURG during her absence. MR. TRA YNOR is also a member of this department.
