            COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT
MR. AIKENS -teaches accounting and consumer ed. and has been here seven years. He coached the midget basketball team because he enjoys the sport and working with the young players. Mr. Aikens also plays golf. Another profession which interests him is law.
MRS. COX- teaches typing, office practice and shorthand. She has been at CCI for eight years. In her spare time, Mrs. Cox enjoys needle- work, sewing and some sports. Mrs. Cox thinks she would like to be a secretary again.
MISS MEREDITH- a phys. ed. and consumer ed. teacher, was here for seven years before going on sabbatical leave and to the University of Toronto.
MR. NORMAN- is at CCI for his fifth year. He teaches data proces- sing, business machines, consumer ed., business organization and man- agement. A great help to the Student Council, he helped coach foot- ball. Mr. Norman enjoys playing various sports and working around the house.
MISS RICHARDS -has been here eight years. She teaches office prac- tice and business machines and enjoys golf. She worked on the Centen- nial Reunion Committee.
MR. SHACKELL -teaches law, typing and other commercial subjects. He has been in Collingwood four years. Interested in knowing the stu- dents outside of the class, Mr. Shackell was the financial advisor to the Student Council and helped with the curling team. Mr. Shackell takes an active part in community affairs.
