then spent a year sabbatical in
Ottawa, and was the Vice-Princi-

G. MINARDI
Mr. Minardi, although he has only been in Colling- wood for three and a half years, is well known to all the students. We first knew him as Head of the Guidance De- partment, the position he occupied efficiently for his first three years at CCI. This year, because of the growth in the population of the school, it was necessary to have two vice-principals. Mr. Minardi has filled the second spot of this position very effectively.
Mr. Minardi is also busy with other activities within the school. Besides his duties as Vice-Principal, he teaches
a first year level five English class. This past year he has served in such capacities as Co-ordinator of the Commence- ment ceremonies, publicity chairman for the OFSAA Ski Championships held at Collingwood and as Co-ordinator
of the Gleaner. In past years he was also involved in coach- ing basketball and officiating at the OFSAA Track and Field Championships.
Mr. Minardi's winter activities include skiing, curling, basketball and hockey. In the summer he enjoys camping, slow pitch softball and hiking.
