CROSS-COUNTRY
ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!
Once again, CCI had another very successful cross- country season. In Simcoe County League Competi- tion every Thursday afternoon, the midget-girls were victorious and the open girls were second to win the overall girls' title. The junior boys were third and the seniors first. Overall, we were second to our arch rivals from ODVCI. In G.B.S.S.A. competition, the girls were first and the boys were third. Once again, the overall score gave us second to ODVCI. Both the junior girls and senior boys won and consequently qualified for OFSAA, with Cheri Titus placing elev- enth and Kevin Titus, twenty-fifth in a very large field. Both teams placed within the top ten in the province.
Many thanks to Mr. Allard and Mr. Knox for their unending effort and enthusiasm. Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to make this such a successful season.
