JUNIOR MATH CONTESTANTS

The Junior Math Contest was written on March 4, 1975 by our Math Team. The coaching was done by Mr. Davidson. Last year the results were considerably higher than we anticipated, and we hope we have maintained the standard this year.
Three Grade 12 members of the team, Nancy Browne, Doug Copp and Perry Wilkinson wrote the intermediate math contest. This is the Junior Math Contest followed by the Euclid math paper, which consisted of five problems.
We won't know our results from either test until a later date. The Math Team would like to thank Mr. Davidson for the competant coaching he gave us.
We need more participation next year so here's one to practice on:
The line Ax+ 4y =8A (A- 0), together with the axes, creates a triangle. Determine possible values of A such that the perimeter of this triangle is equal to its area!
