STUDENTS' COUNCIL
Bound within our yearbook are memories, memories of this past year. Yet, I find it difficult, to sum up the memories an entire year, and to thank those who made it the great year that it was.
It was a year of continuing CCI traditions: of students' cards; of dances; of cupid's delivery over 650 carna· tions; of our Christmas float winning 1st prize; of our bed race team bringing home the trophy; and of imagi· native homerooms raising over $3000 for U.C.A.F.
It was also a year with new beginnings: when the students of CCI chose a school flag; when Freefare enter· tained the entire school; when Santa's elves invaded CCI and found that everyone had decked the halls in Christmas colours; when films brightened up a few dulllunchhours; and a year when the school began raising money to buy new bleachers. It was through the support of the students and staff that these accomplishments were possible.
Although a lot of time and effort has gone into these projects, if somehow, something we've done has made your year at CCI a little more enjoyable, a little more interesting, if something we've done is part of the memo· ries within this Gleaner, then it was time well spent!
Thanks for making this a truly unforgettable year!
