CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING
CCI's Cross Country Team, though small, had another excellent season. Team mem- bers turned in good individual and team results.
Vaughn Lantz dominated the junior boys division by winning all six races to win the overall title. Kendra Titus and Gary Lane finished second overall in the senior girls and senior boys divisions respectively. The senior girls team of Kendra, Wilma Lindhorst, Linda Lockhart , Denise Minardi and Keri Titus won their division
title.
At the GBSSA meet held at Horshoe Valley , top ten per- formances were turned in by
Diane McDermid (midget girls),
Andy Lane (junior boys), Vaughn
and Kendra . The senior girls
team and Vaughn qualified for OFSAA by finishing second in
their divisions.
The OFSAA meet, held at Earl '~- Bales Park in cold, wet, windy conditions , saw excellent per- formances turned in by all competitors , especially Kendra
in 24th and Vaughn in 37th, despite a bad fa ll.
