The 1984 season was a success for the CCI Senior Fighting Owls. On the field we finished with a 3-win, 3-loss record, good enough for third place in the tough Southern Division. A few breaks in scheduling and we might have finished even better and been in the hunt for the title.
The Senior dressed over 35 players and while 24 people was most of the action, all got into the games and saw plenty of action in the daily scrimmages.
Many of these players are returning and the 1985 version of the Fighting Owl Machine just could be "absolutely awesome".
The defense was lead by Pat Molloy, linebackers Roy Potts, Rob Spence, and Dave Spagnolo; defensive linemen Jim Brown and Scott West.
The offense was lead by Trent McKee, Rodger King and James McKenzie on the line, running backs Scott Brand and Ian McLean, and pass receivers Colin McClure and Mike Christie.
Off the field, "the boys" had long bus rides, "lotsa horseplay", 2 banquets, and many tales to tell.
