GIRLS BASKETBALL
The Senior girls basketball team en- joyed a very successful season during which they won 7 of 9 league games and 2 of 3 play-off games.
Some of the hi-lites included a thrilling overtime victory with Stayner in the zone semi-finals; a game against Borden where every team member scored a t least 5 points; Christy Liotta's superb 36 point effort against Brookfield o f Ottawa and

coach Haiduk's snooze on the bench in our opening game against Bradford.
Coach Crago and Coach Haiduk would like to commend the girls on a consistent effort throughout the year and a high level of sportsmanship both on and off the court.
A mixture o f Rookies and Veterans began the season with slim victories and the promise o f a good, b u t n o t great

With constant practice and the resulting good showings in league games and tournaments the team gathered confidence and ended the regular season insecondplace.Inthezonecham- pionships held at C.C.I. the girls doubled the score on Bradford in the semi-final round and were easy victors over Barrie North to win the zone championships.
