Such deep gratitude must also be extended to our parents, who have helped us overcome so many obstacles through our highschool careers. Whatever hurts we had whenever advice was needed, they were there.
And finally, seeing the faces o f our fellow classmates, beaming with a sense o f pride and accomplishment, made me reflect back and remember all the wonderful times we spent together as a group. Friendships were formed inside these walls, friendships that will last forever. We have grown up through the most turbulent and difficult times of our lives together and survived to emerge as the graduating class of 1984.
And so, the end of our era at C.C.I. has arrived, and we must look forward to the dawn of our futures. The diploma that we receive tonight is a stepping stone to that future. We are embarking on new and different lifestyles whether it be working, or going to college or university.
But we must always remember where we began. C.C.I. will live forever within us, the teachers, the students and the school itself. Fellow graduates, this evening marks our final reunion as a group; may this night be a memorable one, and may we all continue to live life to its fullest.
