SENIOR GIRLS
This year's senior team featured eight freshmen seniors , one second-year and only three third-year seniors. In spite of the obvious inexperience of the team they made excellent representatives of C.C.I .
As well as playing in nine league match- es, they participated in Invitational tournaments at Penetanguishene , Ren- frew, Barrie, Midland, and their own Blue Mtn. Tournament.
The final status of the team was unknown at the time of printing but the team was expected to place in the top four of their zone and enter the play-offs. Coaches B. Brown and E. Vandeweerhof were extremely pleased with the "Fighting" character of this team.
MIDGET GIRLS
The midget girls' volleyball team tasted revenge by winning a playoff birth while beating out Eastview in head to head competition . The girl saw lots of action in three all day tournaments and a busy league schedule in February . This rookie
team , including the coach , played to a respectable 5 and 5 season. Coach Nuttley thanks the girls for their dedication and patience .
JUNIOR GIRLS
C.C.I. Junior girls volleyball team has had an exciting and successful season. This enthusiastic group of gals were silver medalists at the St. Theresa 's tournament, quarter finalists at the Eastview tour- nament and grand champions in our own Blue Mtn.tournament.
Fine team play and consistent effort earned these players a third place finish in the league. During zone playoffs, the powerful fighting owls were unbeatable and they emerged zone 3 champions. At the time of this write-up the girls were preparing for the GBSSA finals in Orillia.
Each member of the team was a star in her own right. Their willingness to support each other and ability to pull together as one contributed to their winning ways. The junior girls volleyball team for 1985-86 was a credit to the school. Congratu- lations girls and coaches.
