The 1987 Track Team finished fifth at the Simcoe County Indoor Meet, third at the Simcoe County South Region Meet and Seventh at the GB Meet.
Individually, there were many excellent performances during the year. At the South Region Meet, 24 of 34 team members qualified for the GB Meet. Elaine Lindhorst, Yvonne Leliveld and Reinhardt Keller won the individual championships in the midget girls, junior girls and senior boys respectively.
