watching for the birdie
he badminton tradition took another giant step tforward in 1987, with out first G.B.S.S.A. Championship and our first trip to O.F.S.S.A. G.B.S.S.A. medalists inlcuded Doug Hansen and April Kilbride (G .B.S.S.A./Gold), Jen-
nifer Stanley (G.B.S.A.A./Bronze), Martha Carson (G.B.S.S.A. Jr. Silver). At O.F.S.S.A., Doug and April finished in the top half of all mixed double players in the province. This team was the strongest C.C.I. has ever placed in competition and with only two graduating seniors and one graduating junior, the 1988 team can look forward to being even stronger.
