Michelle Finley and Troy Ferguson have followed their '86 GBSSA with another '87 championship. These are the only two GBSSA Tennis championships in C.C.I. history!!!
Senior boys players included the formidable likes of 'DASHING' Jason Ducharme and 'GRACIOUS' Grant Morgan. Both Jason and Grant were team leaders and always played hard. Mike Ondercin and Aaron Mather served up the Boys Doubles and just fell short of a GBSSA berth .
Pat Bowhey and Martha Carson teamed up as Mixed Doubles. Pat's quickness and Martha's consistency brought them much success, but unfortunately a tough elimination in the zone trials.
Veterans Andrea Canning and Rachel Makin led our girls team. Andrea had a magnificent final game in the zone trials and earned a GBSSA playoff spot. Rachel improved greatly after attending a summer tennis camp and then pass- ed many of her new insights onto the other players.
Our new juniors were an exciting bunch! The strong pair of Jamie Saunders and Jamie McQueen dazzled op- ponents with their fancy moves, great communication and well-developed skills. New players Tina Hawton, Kate Lovell and Jennifer Culham were very consistent par- ticipants and all developed a great deal!
We look forward to these juniors returning to work our seniors to produce another C.C.I. Championship team in '88! A hearty congratulations from Coaches Buie, Red- ding and Stukas!

Pros:
- it wakes you up in the morning
- you can go straight home after school
- it wears off all the colories from breakfast (if you get time to eat it)
- you canwatch "The Young and the Restless"
CONS:
· - you smell for the rest of the day
-you're sore, hot, and tired
- you hair is gross
- you have to go to bed early
- your parents get rnad because they have to drive you to school
- you fall asleep in your afternoon classes
- your day seems too long because you got up so early
- getting out of bed early is a killer
- you miss Inspector Gadget in the morning!
