IN CLASS.
••
So much happens in class that involves more than just reading books and taking notes. The extra-curricular activities that go on, such as group discussions and role play, separate the modem student from. the occupants o f the one-room schoolhouse. Guest speakers, pizza parties, 'Stubborn Sandy Stoutenburg's name association games, trips to the Y.M.C.A., and people throwing each other's lunches out of the window are, but a few of the events that go on in class. WHA T'S HAPPENING IN CLASS?
Q - Have you ever escaped through a window while class was in progress? If so, please elaborate.
A - Well, I'll tell you. Never get Mrs. Stoutenburg on your bad side. Once, when she left the class, I turned around to con- verse with the person behind me. Mrs S. saw me and came running at me with a ten foot long bull whip like the one in "Raiders Of The Lost Ark". I took one look and dove out the window, falling 2 storeys into a garbage bin".
