NRICHMENT
Each year students at C.C.I. are given the opportunity to gain extra credits beyond their normal course load by com- pleting independent studies through the Enrichment program. The topics are as varied as the way in which they are presented. Mike Giffen and Chris Ralph chose to write, direct and produce a 45 minute play that was performed by the students of Cameron St. School in their Christmas show. For their outstanding work and dedication, each of these talented individuals received a credit. Heather Vamplew was fascinated by the Kennedy assassination and chose to complete a research paper on this topic. Peter McConnell, Frank Posta and Rick Martin's interest in the Auto-CAD drafting com-
puter earned them additional credits. Krista Lovrics and Tam- my Ward's curiosity about cameras and the art of photography led them to complete projects in this field. Jerry Heighes, a history buff, researched into the area of 'Western Surveillance' as part of his project. Kari Andres learned to speak Spanish and put her newly acquired language into a children's book. Patti Day wrote a paper on Japenese Cana- dians and this document was placed in our school library. James Knox received another credit with his series of short stories and poems. These are ony a few of the individuals that received additional credits, but each person displayed ex- cellent research and management skills and each was to be congratulated on their hard work and effort.
