anuary Temperatures Hit All-Time High Record
Some people at school couldn't wait to take off their hot winter clothes and take scissors to their blue jeans as they could not stand the heat any longer. Some students even had the uncontrollable urge to spend lunch hour at Sunset Point. When ask- ed what they were doing they replied, "We just had to go swimming!". January was a fantastic month.

This Lady?
After having a most successful opening year, Mr. Mcintosh decided that what 'A Touch of Class' needed was an enhance- ment in the decor of the room . He began by attiring the waiters in this very ... uni- que (?) uniform. Here we see Kristie Nor- man (LT.) modelling the dress. Now doesn't it make you just want to jump up and ask for another coffee! When Debra Prezio + Tamara Wickens (RT.) were questioned about this year's change, they replied, "The food is always superb, the service is excellent, but it's the uniform. Are the socks necessary?"
After returning back to school after the Christmas Break, the students of C.C.I. were greeted with increasingly hot temperatures for this time of year. In fact, January went down as being the hottest month of the entire year. As ski bases turned to mud and outdoor skating rinks became water ponds, the entire student body was seen eliminating winter jackets and boots in exchange for shorts, T-shirts and sandals. Field trips (such as Mr. Knox's Geography trip) were rescheduled. Students worked on their tans while listening to hockey scores.
