On June 14th, 1989, C.C.I. held its' annual Athletic Banquet and , as always , it was a tremendous success. The even- ing's entertainment was provided by Mr. Rhodes who presented the slides on the Jr. Ski Team's trip to Sweden. As well, an excellent meal was catered by the Barnboard Restaurant. A big thanks should be given to Chris Aikens and her Athletic Council for an excellent job at organizing the evening.
The winners of Sr. Letters (TOP RT.) were: Mar- tha Carson, Troy Ferguson, Elaine Lindhorst, Todd Guzzwell, Reg Sheffield, Scott Morgan and Warren Westerhof. The Sr. Athletes of the Year were: Barb Linton (TOP MID.), Reg Sheffield (BOT. MID.) and Troy Ferguson (BOT. LT.). The Jr. Athletes of the Year were: Sherry Death (MID. LT.) and Adam Plater (MID.). Recipients of special Awards were: Gym Rat - Scott Martin, Basketball Leadership- Chris Fisher, Lt. M. Caron Wrestling Award - Jay Grainger, Mike Stoll Cross-Country Award- Scott Morgan, Titus Football Award- Jr. - Keith Wagner + Sr. - Todd Guzzwell (MID. RT.). Winners of Jr. Letters were: Sue Clugston, Jay Grainger, Dan Walker, Gen Currie, Mike Farness, Gary Weatherall, Sherry Death , Adam Plater, Kevin Zeggil, Kari Leal, Craig Pommer, Tara Monk, Dean Service, Jodi Rabbits and Andrew Sneyd. Winners of Major Letters were: Reinhardt Keller, Pauline Verrette and Yvonne Leliveld. Chris Aikens also presented Mr. Minardi with his Sr. Letter (TOP LT.).
