This year the Jr. Girls Basketball Team came out of their season with a 17- 3 record, losing only to Barrie lnnisdale. The girls worked extremely hard throughout the season and reached their goal -to get to the GBSSA's. In their first game , they beat Barrie North in a very close 46-40 game and ad- vanced to the GBSSA Final against lnnisdale. The girls kept up with Barrie right until the half and then ended up losing the game 54-34. The girls must be congratulated on their excellent season and fond memories will always recall:
- Jeanine piggy-backing Alexia at half court - 'Hip-hip' MacDonalds
- Kate, the 'ring leader' - Alia and tree -Bessy's 3 point shots -Connie's revenge
All of the girls would like to thank Coaches Gagne and Aikens for the best season ever!
