           CURLING AND BADMINTON Two Ways to Beat the Winter Blahs!
The Girl's Curling Team showed great improvement this year. With precision shooting and hard sweeping, their results were quite impressive. They placed sec- ond in the Alliston Bonspiel and fourth in the Simcoe County championships, there - by qualifying forth G.B.S.S.A. Champi- onship competition in Parry Sound. At the G.B.'s, they played hard, but were elim- inated by Barrie Centre Central and Bant- ing. Their coach, Mr. Baumgarten, is very proud of the effort and good sportsman- ship demonstrated by SKIP - Kathy-Jo Quesnel, VICE - Tina Howton, SECOND - Micheline Quesnel and LEAD- Jennifer Millsap.
