Top Lt.: Mrs. Plater's class was disqualified for not following the rules close enough . They tried to cram as many people as pos- sible onto a desk, not a bench! Mid. Rt.: This was the submission sent in my the 'Apathy Club'! Bot. Lt.: This was the Tech. Team led by Darren Young and the WINNERS with a whooping 12 people! Bot. Rt.: Mark Durant coached this all-female team to a 2nd. place finish. Bot. Rt.: Chris Rowbotham's team was a good try. but no cigar!
This year, C.C.I. held its' Sec- ond Annual Bench Cramming Contest. This contest's name is fairly explanitory- the object be- ing to cram as many people as possible onto one of several school benches. The prizes var- ied from first prize being a tape of Mr. Knox's 'Oldies, but Good- ies!' for each contestant. For 2nd. prize, each was awarded a gift certificate for a lovely lunch for two in the school cafeteria. Third
place entrants were allowed to wear Jim Spears Prefect sweater for a day!
