CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION
The economic conditions in the C.C.I. region were poor in the 1992-93 school year. Despite the recession, our community came through for us by placing over 220 of our students in meaningful learning experiences as part of Co-operative Ed- ucation.
The diverse employment opportunities included Funeral Director (Fawcett's Funeral Home), Art/Retail sales (Skelton Galleries), Nursing and Physiotherapy (General and Marine Hospital), Electronic's (Reynolds-Lemmerez) and Secretarial (The Missing Link).
Our teacher monitors for '92-93 included Mrs. J. Gillham, Mrs. J. Plater, Mr. R. Bennett, Mrs. C. Weston, Mrs. F. Meredith, Mr. J. Rhodes, Mrs. G. Toppings, and Mr. J. Kilgour. Mr. R. Pommer co-ordinated the program as well as teaching two classes.
