Over 50 Studentstook part in trips planned by the Outers Club. In the fall students went on a four day canoe trip to Kilarney Provincial Park, This spring, 2 groups of stu- dents hiked the trails of Al- gonquin Park. Finally, students prepared for future trips at the Skills Weekend

This year C.C.I. was fortunate to have one of the strongest public speaking teams yet. Our team competed in the Royal Canadian Legion's Competition in Febru- ary. Stefanie Bond placed first in Branch, Distrkt and Zone Com- petitions, and second in the Area Competition. Stefanie also placed first in the Lion's Club Competi- tion and will compete at the Pro- vincial level. Shayne Brown came second in the Legion Competition. Congratulations to all speakers!
