VOLLEYBALL
The 1996 version of the CCI's Junior Boys V-Ball Team took to the court on the second day of school and didn't look back until we were in the championship final of the Central Sim- coe County Division playoffs. The team, led by veterans Luca Senk, Darryl Kemsley, Ryan Bur- ton, Joe Prokopec and Mike Ferguson, began the season with a strong showing with two split teams at our own tournament in September and defeating a varity of teams from around central Ontario to finish second at the Eastview Tourna- ment in October. Our regular season record of 5 and 1 reflected the addition of strong skills from newcomers to CCI: Matt Campbell, Jacob carr, Josh Moore, Ben McNabb, Mike Liotta, Jason Gillham, Jason Hildebrant and Justin Croft. All players contributed to their team and own development during 30 practices and 2 months of competitions. While there was no trip to the GB's this year, the team deserves the congratulation of coaches Melason, Sharp and Redmond for a job well done.
The Senior Boys Volleyball Team had an1 outstanding season, finishing with an impres- sive record of 32-7 in league and tournament play. The Owls won the Fighting Owl Early Bird Tournament and the L.B. Pearson Spike Clas- sic and finished in the finals of both the Father Redmond and the Banting Maurader Tourna- ments. In league play, Collingwood and East- view met in the Central region Final and, after
