JUNIOR + SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TEAMS
After coming 'Oh So Close' to winning the Gbssa Championships as Midgets, this year's Junior Girls Volleyball Team was eager to resolve that event in a more favourable manner. However, to do so, they had to first make the play-offs and win the division before they could move on to the GB finals. This task was made less daunting as ALL teams made the playoffs. They finished a strong second, losing only to Eastview 3 games to 2, in regular season play and in tournament action won the Huntsville Tournament and the Orillia Whiteball Tournament. They lost to Eastview (again) in an early-bird tour- nament at Midland and came in second. (Coach- ing was the problem in this one) and again second in our own tournament when we lost to Stouffville in the final. Once the play-offs arrived, the women were ready to take on all newcomers. In the Divi- sional playdowns, Barrie North, St. Joe's and our nemesis. Eastview, fell victis to these ladies who were on a mission. The final against Eastview was probably their strongest match of the year as they rolled over the Wildcats 15-4 and 15-3. The East- view coach was stunned to say the least. He was
