CCI had 6 competitors in the 1999 Senior Math Competition. The grade 12 contest was written by Sasa Junuzivic, Natasha Sunderji, Chris Heiple! and Amanda Hickling. Sasa led the team to a 5'h place position in the zone which consists of Simcoe and Muskoka counties. The Descarte competition was completed by Sasa, Ashley George and Nirupama Somayajula. Sasa again earned the highest score in the school. He received two medals for his first place finishes in the two contests and Certificates if Distinction for finishing in the top 25% of all competitors in both contests.
