The Senior Girls ' team saw a marked resurgence with nine Owls taking to the trails at G.B. ·s. Placing 3'd as a team in Simcoe County, the C.C.I. Seniors went on to take 5'" place honours at the GBSSA race led by Ali Peirce who won one race earlier in the season . All in all. a banner

'CI has seen the introduction ofa Rugger Team to its' sports line- up 1is year. Coached by Mr. Kirby and Mr. Hammond. the team was eginning practices for a busy season . We wish all of the members IUCh success in their tirst season.
In June, I999, CCI hosted the Annual Life Skills Floor Hockey Tournament and ten classes from around the county participated in this fun- filled event. Our school combined its' class with the Stayner Cl crew to make a great team. After a disappointing lose in the first round, the CCI/SCI team battled back to a second place finish in Division B. Congratulations!
