Are the Sr. girls set to win?

The Senior Boys' Volleyball Team faced a disappointing season because it was a rebuilding year after the loss of most of last year's team members. The team is looking forward to next year because most of the present players will then be seasoned seniors. The coaches, Mr. Richrnire, Mr. French and Tyler Chatterson thank all of the players for their dedication and effort.
The Jr. Girls' Volleyball Team had an unforgettable season this year, with only 2 returning players. Having split league play, the team worked it's way through many ups and downs. The girls made the semi-finals of the E.C. Drury Tournament, and entered GB's ranked second. Nikkie and Myranda provided strong, consistant serving, while Katlin and Kyla dug up the backcourt with gritty play. Brooke and Michaela set up mighty power hits for Allison, Katie and Sam. Chelsea and Kelly blocked with style, while Jasmine and Nadine smashed hits down the middle. Overall, it was a successful season with many thanks to the coaches Mrs. Haiduk and Mrs. Synnot-Prosser for their hard work and dedication.
Coached by Mr. Buie, the Junior Boys' Volleyball Team faced a challenging season against many other seasoned schools. Although a good effort was displayed, the results were disappointing.
The Senior Girls' Volleyball Team had a fine season. They went undefeated in league play then advanced to GBSSA. The were GB finalists and gained an OFSAA "AAAA" berth where they competed with 20 of the top teams in the province including two national team players. The girls played in a very tough five team pool at OFSAA and finished in a tie for third place. Unforhmately, the team lost out in the tie breaker and did not advance. The girls should be very proud of their overall season record. They placed on the championship side of four invitational tournaments around the province.
