Junior Girls Basketball Team made great improvements in personal lis and team play this season. Having only 4 returning players from the
s year' s GBSSA Champions we added on J l new players onto the team's line up. In spite of a lack of experience the CCI girls had an excellent season on the hardwood.

At the end of the year the girls played their best, defeating Banting in the playoffs and advancing to the GBSSA semi-finals were we had an amazing game defeating Eastview 48- 46 in a thriller. In the final the team battled right down to the final whistle but were defeated in a very close game by Bear Creek 35 -32. Best wishes go out to Dallas Graham, Allison deRuiter, Natalie Hastings, Tonya Cailes, and Sarah Bruce who will be leaving the team to move up to the Big Leagues and play senior ball next year. Watch out for the CCI Junior Girls next season will so much returning talent from this year's grade 9 contingent.

The Junior Boys Basketball Team had another successful season finishing with a 12-10 record including 5-l in league play. We hosted another successful tournament with twelve teams attend ing. The boys also participated in tournaments in Huntsville and Owen Sound. Although we were eliminated in the playoff round, the team improved with every practice and game. Coaches, McAndrew and Bennett appreciate the dedication and sportsmanship demonstrated by the team. A special thank you goes out to the parents for their great support this season.
