First ever Collingwood Cl was built. It was not inside a schoolhouse, yet an International Hotel. The school started before Collingwood was made a town.
1867- Confederation
Canada is born.
1883- Collingwood
Shipyards open
One of Collingwood's most historical monuments opens its doors. The shipyards were responsible for the construction of ships for war and import/export purposes.
1858- Birth of aTown
Collin gwood was a town 9 years before Confederation or the Birth ofour nation.
1874- 2nd Collingwood Cl was built
Brick structure was built. Structure was located on the corner of Hurontario and Hume. It later burned down in 1923.
