Herb Sproule won the High Hur- dles in 18 2-5 sec. And Inkster made a spectacular win in the pole vault. He cleared 9' 6".
The last senior win is credited to Bunt Inkster when he won the quar- ter mile. In this race "Bunt" beat the renowned·Eaton of Orillia. Time
'57 seconds.
The Intermediates did equally as well as the Seniors, winning five firsts and one second.
The Intermediate Relay Race was .o less thrilling than the Senior.
Likewise their opponents secured at the first, this time it was Orillia we had to contend with. Not until the last lap did our chances of winning look at all probable. Ken Guilfoyle performed the Inkster stunt on th8 Intermediates. Although Guilly was not able to win he managed to tie for first.
Jack Portland won the high jump. \Handica.p€d J::y a straiTd bck 1t was all Portland could do to clear the standard. He qualified to go to Kingston by a jump of 5' 2".
We have to thank Ken Guilfoyle for our other three firsts. Guilly won the quarter mile, in 59 sees, the two hundred and twenty yard dash and the javelin throw with a throw
