Midland and Collingwood, the school track and field athletes gave a good Hccunt of themselves and won a large number of the events.
We might mention here that the Barrie track is anything but ideal for a track meet. The condition of the track was without a doubt large- ly responsible for the many of the boys failing to qualify for the King-
.ston' Meet. Collingwo·od has a ;far superior track to that of Barrie. And ye editor would like to suggest to the Ontario Athletic• Commission that either the Barrie· Track be im- proved or the place for this meet be changed so that the teams will have a fair chance with those of other districts in qualifying for the finals.
