Pete Hernhanlt-Forward. Pete's favorite was right under the basket. He jus.t could not miss.
"Burl" Conn-Forward. Bud teamed up with Pete and the two had friendly con- tests In the scoring.
Don McKa.y-Forward. Don was a good relief man
Erie Scott-Centre. Scotty was a steady relief centre and specialized in long high sho.ts. Swish!
Francis Rice-Guard. If he couldn't stop you any other way he threw a hip into you. Bump!
Alf. Miron-Guard. Between Alf. and ''Rickey" there wasn't much choice. Either was hard to- pass.
Bob Storey- Guard. Bot; was like a 'King' laney. He put spirit in the team.

C. C. I. vs. Barrie (2nd. game)
Again repeating, the Juniors won from their Barrie rivals 20-16 and the round 38-22. The Barrie boys, J'l their home floor made it closer this time. Everyone played well for the c.c.r.
C. C. I. vs. Orillia
Having won both games of the first round, the Juniors earned th·~ right to meet Orillia for the District Championship. They met in Barrie on February 14. The C.C.I. held the top end of a 22-18 count. Orillia's last minute rally was too long de- layed. Both teams played good bas- ketball.

On Friday, March 6th, the jun- iors clashed with Newcastle in the gymnasium at the Northern Voca- tional School in the semi-finals for the COSSA Championship. They were at no tim:e in danger and ran up a commanding lead. Connolly scored eleven points, Jack Brown and McLean each scoring six. The score ended 27-5 for the C.C.I.
