I.S.C.F. is a group of students in the school interested in Christianity. Our motto is "to know Christ and to make Him known."
With a membership of about twenty, we got off to a good start this year. Our regular meetings are held once a week for discussion of topics from the Bible. Th~members. of thfl'f~ba~so read the Scripture and lead In ~royer 1~ our.asiem~l~es.

In January we returned to Meaford for a tobog g party on the mountain.
This year our sponsors are Mr. McBurney and Mr. Schnieder. Special recognition should be granted to Mr. Elliott who has been present for all meetings and assists a great deal in the work of the club.
Mr . El liott, Staff Supervisor; Howard Brant, President; Les Harrison,
Last year our meetings had to be cancelled during
the winter months because of the buses leaving early.
This year we are trying to work out a schedule that will not interfere with the buses.
This year we have also been trying to get as many denominations as possible represented in our group . So far we have not been too successful, but we are still trying.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite anyone who would be interested in attending our club to come out and join us. We would also like to thank Mr. Peat for his co-operation, for we feel this club is important in our school.

The members of the Library Club, this year, are: Joe Croteau, 9 D; Joyce Manning, 10 H; and Dianne McQuay, 11 A. Although few in number1 they have cheerfully devoted their activity periods to the benefit of our C. D.C .I. readers.
New and interesting books have been made ready for our many students to use. The Britannica was given to the Library by the Company and many other reference works were purchased; such as, Lands and Peoples, Popular Science, Groves Dictionary of Music and Musicians, RichardsEncyclopedia,Cambridge Modern History, and Canadiana. We feel we have a good selection of books, especially in literature, science, history1 and a great many novels. Most of the new books are reference books.
Shelves have been re-arranged using the Dewey Decimal System for classifying books. Issuing and recording facilities have been improved for more efficient service at 3:J5 p.m.
The Library is the heart and cuitural centre of the school, and pians have been made for future development1 expansion, and improvement. We need more books, a bigger and better Library Club, and increased interest in the Library.
