SENIOR BASKETBALL
Mainly because of the lack of bench strength, the Senior Cavaliers met defeat in nearly all their games this year. Things looked well be- fore Christmas with thirteen boys out practising every night. But the 'great' Cavaliers of '66-67 finished with six players.
The team consisted of five veteran Seniors - Dave Homuth, Roy Dahl, Paul Hirons, Reid Stewart, and Dave Holroyd- with the sixth man being one of the best finds of the year, rookie Senior, Gary Shaw.
You can not 'knock' a team of six players for losing, but some of you could play next year. Only two of this year's Seniors will remain to play next year, so CCI can look forward to a basketball rebuilding program.
On behalf of the team, I would like to thank our coach, Mr. Titus, who is one of the busiest men in the school, but took time out to coach the Cavaliers.
