BOYS' VOLLEYBALL
SR. BOYS
The Senior Boy's team was very suc- cessful again this year. In league play the team finished with a 9-1 win-loss record. Losing to a large and powerful team from Barrie Central the team went into the Zone finals as the s.econd place team and had a very successful round-robin winning all games. They won their semi-final match against Banting and in the final took a well played exciting match against Barrie Central to win the Zone finals.
The next week the team played in the GBSSA finals defeating all teams ex- cept for the powerful St. Theresa's team in the finals, to place second for the second year in a row. The team is to be commended for an excellent effort and an outstanding season. The team players are: Paul Van Boxmeer, Dave Kerr, John Liotta, Bill Ironside, Brian Gurney, Gary Hawton, Shawn Cor- bishley, Mark Craig, Rob Trotter, Riaz Mohammed and Dave Hollingshead.
MIDGET BOYS VOLLEYBALL
The team finished regular season play in third place. At Zone competition in Barrie the team's fate was to play games against the top teams from the zone. In the semi-final match they lost a hard fought game to Banting Memorial High School, the team which went on to win the zone championship.
