CURLING AND BOWLING
Although turnout for the recreational curling was somewhat less than adequate, the Fire man Curling team was competitive. The team consisting of Skip Richard Meesters, Vice-skip Robert White, Second Mike Cornett and Leads Tim Cook and Martijn VanDerNet competed in two school boy bonspiels and a Sunday night In- dustrial League. Special thanks to coaches Mr. Grant and Mr. Cook for a job well done and to Basil Brock and the Collingwood Curling Club for their help .
A new venture at the school this year was the formation of the CCI Bowling Team. They competed in the Pepsi Challenge Bowling Tournament, which is a national event, and qualified for the provincial finals in T oronto repre- senting the Georgian Bay District. Plans are now being made to enter the All Ontario High School competition in the 1983-1984 school year.
