2nd place at G.B.S.S.A.
This year's wrestling team dropped one place from our traditional standing of G.B.S.S.A. champions. However, the team did very well overall with three G.B. champions- Jay Grainger, Michael Asbeck and Reinhart Keller. Sec- ond place was won by Ron Purkins and bronze medal finishes were put in by Bobby Hewitt, Kevin Zeggil, Dean Young, Gerry LeFeuvre, Brent Chandler while Pat Bowhey placed fourth. The team placed second in the Sim- coe County Wrestling League behind Orillia District. At O.F.S.S.A. the wrestlers did well with Reinhart Keller
placing 8th in the tough unlimitedweight class. Jay and Michael also represented the school with honour. The team had a good year with their travels to Sarnia, Orillia, Wind- sor, Toronto and Mississauga tournaments. A young team has come together and set in motion a strong hope for the future.
