Yet another successful ski season was enjoyed by approximately 300 students and staff who make up membership in C.C.I. 's largest club. With the ever expanding popularity of the club, a total of 6 buses were required to transport everyone to Blue Mountain Ski Resorts for the 8 weekly trips: Other benefits received by members were lessons by Blue Mountain Ski School instructors, an aU-day pass during tum-around between semesters, night skiing student rate and equipment rentals.
"To Catch tbe Spirit" ofthe Olympics, the S.O.D. skiers at the National Ski Academy organized a fun race day which was very well appreciated. The season ended with the annual barbeque at Cen- tral Base Lodge. A good time was had by all, Staff advisers Mr. Sproule ana Mr. Haiduk, along with additional advisers Rhodes, Aikens, Stewart, Bernie, Chandler, Gagne, Stukas, Beckett, Buie, Doran, Baxer, Plater, Harrison, Bach, Nuttley, Hutbart, Bluemke, Davidson and Norman would like to thank the ad- ministration and the rest of the staff for their co-operation in this worthwhile programme. A special thank-you also goes to Blue Moun- tain Ski Resorts for their continual support to make the excellent sport of skiing affordable to students.
