The '90 Midget Fighting Owls were very com- petitive in league play. They completed the season in third place and suffered a narrow loss in playoff action which prevented their advance- ment to GBSSA competi- tion. They gained a reputation for enthusiastic and sporting play which will form a solid base for future Junior and Senior Teams.
C.C.I. Midget B.B. players were: BK. ROW: Owen Civiera, Dave Crevier, Jeff Reid, Jason McCarl, Jamie Robinson, Steve Robinson, Coach Allard. FR. ROW: Brian Samuelson, Jeff Fuhre, Jason Arnott, Derek Seymour, Brad Neville, Ryan Mac- Nicol. ABSENT: Greg Edmunds, Jason Edwards.
The Junior Boy's Basketball Team enjoyed an ex- cellent season as they built an 11 wins and 2 losses record prior to play-offs. The veteran team was led in of- fence by Steve Martin, Trevor Kolkea, Mike Lougheed, James Carson and Kurt White. Brad Rawn, Brad Sproule and Carl French showed insspirational defence. Newcomers Brian McClure, Don Shackell and Jeff Robin- son showed good promise for the future. One of the highlights for the Juniors was the victory at the St. Joseph's tournament where the team defeated Holy Trinity, Midland and O.D.C.V.I.
