ach September , we enter the halls of Collingwood Collegiate to a sea of new and unfamiliar faces belonging to those who are either just embarking upon their high school career or have recently moved into the area. Before long, however, these acquaintances join the C.C.I. ranks and it seems like they were always part of this great school. Before we know it, however, June descends upon us and we must say good- bye to our many friends. For some, the parting may simply last the summer and the friendship be renewed when school
opens again. However, for others June means bidding a for- mal farewell to some that have played a very important part in ,eur lives. This year we wished our best to four such teachers - Mr. Minardi, our Vice-Principal, Mr. Beckett, Head of the Moderns Department, Mr. Ricketts, a Technical teacher and Mr. Gardner, a teacher of English. Hopefully each will make a welcomed visit back to this old stamping grounds. It's nice to know that we're not saying good-bye to their friendship!
