This year, the Sr. Physical Education classes at C.C.I. were endeavoring to use more of the com- munity facilities for further development of recrea- tional skills such as tennis and curling. The co- operation of places such as Cranberry Village and the Collingwood Curling Club were greatly ap- preciated. The Srs., also worked on activities such as cross-country skiing, slo-pitch, bowling, social dance, archery, volleyball and badminton. The Jr. program focused on many team sports. In addition, the girls developed some dazzling jazz and gym- nastics routines while the boys learned the latest wrestling moves and weight training techniques. Our adaptive program used extensive water therapy at both the YMCA and the Contact Cen- tre as well as a fun period of bowling once a week. All courses included a health component which covered such topics as AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse, fitness, values and sexuality.
