The G.B.S.S.A. golf tournament was played Friday, May 12th on the two Deerhunt Resort courses in Huntsville. There were twenty schools competing in both junior and senior events. The Seniors played on the new champion- ship "Highlands" par 72 course, while the Juniors played on the "Lakeside" par 63 course.
Collingwood Collegiate entered teams in both events. The Senior team carded a total score of 376 to place tenth in their division. The Midland team scored 315 (27 over par) to lead all Senior teams. Steve Siminato had the best score for the C.C.I. Seniors
with an 87.

the C.C.I. Juniors in the 1990-1991 golf season. Other wins were at the Hu- ronia Invitational in Midland and the C.C .I. Invitational held recently at Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club.
In individual Junior results, the best score of the tournament was carded by Mike Melnyk of C.C.I.. Mike shot an even par 63 to lead his team to this impressive victory . The C.C.I. golf teams were coached by Fred Jardine. Fred has coached a number of quality golf teams over his twenty years at C.C.I., but this is his first team ever to win a G.B.S.SA crown.

In Junior play, the C.C.I. team posted a score of 271 (19 over par) to capture their first ever G.B.S.SA vic- tory. They lead second place O.D.V.C.I. from Orilla by 13 strokes. This was the third tournament win for
