The Senior Fighting Owl Boys' Volleyball Team had a building year after their OFSSA appearance last year. Returning veterans Chad Arnis and Shawn Stewart formed the nucleus around the newcomers developed their individual and team skills . After a shaky start, they began to coalesce as the season progressed. Tough matches gave a rise to occasional wins and changes to our offence provided a solid punch. The highlight has to be St. Theresa's Tournament, where we met teams from a variety of settings and skills. We moved well in pool play and lost out in the playoffs by the narrowest margins. While the GBs seemed to be out of our reach, the shedule worked in our favourite and we found ourselves in the GBSSA qualifying round. But even our best efforts could not pull out the win and our season came to an exciting close. We didn't win many games, but the drive and determination of all of the players made this team a pleasure to coach. We wish all the best to graduating seniors, Chad Arnis, Simon Houston, Mike Hutchesson, Matt McLean, Greg Murch, and Dave Shon·ock.
