During the 2003 season, CCI's Senior Girls Fighting Owls had a perfect season in league play, and advanced to the AAAA GBSSA Finals. Proving their talent once again, the girls took GBs and advanced to the OFSSA Championship. However, despite their awesome defense and outstanding talent, the girls were defeated in their quarter-final game, tying for fifth overall. Great season girls!!!

The Collingwood Collegiate Senior Boys Basketball Team were a competitive team again in 2003-04. The Senior Owls finished with a 3-3league record and 9 wins overall despite only having one returning Senior from last year's squad. Highlights of the year included a convincing victory over Orillia City Champion Twin Lakes, and a last second loss to traditional Toronto power Martingrove in the Bear Creek Tournament BDivision Final.
Captain Adam Smith led the Owls in
scoring, rebounding and blocked shots and
was a defensive force for the CCI Seniors.
Guard Scott Tomlinson scored 29 second
half points versus Eastview and was a three-
point specialist in Petawawa, while super
sophmore James Niermann was one of the
three leading scorers and defensive players,
and was the best distributor of the rock.
Blake Morrison was a defensive standout,
while Mitchell Sheaves added scoring punch to the offense. Wayne Wilson and Adam Ondercin were the two assistant chairmen of the boards, with Adam receiving the Most Improved Player. Brad Dale provided much needed ball control for our guards, with Jordan Gilbert adding defensive intensity and Caleb Denbok contributing constancy to our offensive tempo.
Coaches Hirst and McCarl wish the best to graduates Brad, Jordan, Blake, Mitchell and the two Adams.
(BOT LT) Lisa welcomes buc- caneer Brooke to the team, while (BL) Adam Smith stretches out before a game. (BTRT) Nadine, a second mate squares up for a shot!!
